Why Campus?

We believe college and university students are the most strategic population to reach in Canada.

Reachable

According to Meg Jay in “The Defining Decade", a human being makes 80% of their most impactful life decisions in their 20s. This means after 30, while not impossible, it is increasingly more difficult to reach someone with the gospel.

Additionally, due to the nature of campus life, student populations are concentrated in a single area. This means campuses are little cities within cities and provide incredible opportunities for geographical evangelistic concentration.

Win the Campus. Win the World.

College and university students are the present and future leaders of government, business, and industry. As a result, we believe by reaching and winning the campus, we have the greatest opportunity of reaching the world.

In Canada, roughly 30% of college and university students are international students. While some will stay in Canada, many will return home or go somewhere else in the world and this presents a window of opportunity to impact their lives and as a result, the world.

Imagine.

Sendable = Multiplication

While many loathe the reality of students graduating and leaving, we believe this presents an opportunity for multiplication.

By reaching students and walking with them as they grow in relationship with Jesus, their graduation presents a sending opportunity and we believe this window is incredibly strategic for gospel sending and collaboration.

We do this by linking graduating students across the country to one another and to a new location for the planting of a new church or campus ministry.

As a result, the new thing becomes the vehicle of mission for a graduating student to multiply what they received and now give away for the kingdom of God.
